We had a table with pictures and tributes, but the surviving brother asked us to remove it because the family was worried about retaliation.

Khatari was a great young man, a leader and a lover of his people and community. He is the future and will be truly missed.

Khatari was killed by a high powered automatic shot gun. How do these guns get into our community. Tell me?

It has been over a year since we lost Khatari. As his mother, I have never been contacted by the police (except for them to try to lay claim to the money in his pocket - which he received as a bonus from his job- to pay for the coronor's fees.

It's amazing Chauncey's murder was solved in something like 72 hours.
